Town

In a Mafia game, the term "town" can refer to either all of the players in the game as a whole, or just the non-scum players. The town faction has superior numbers but little information. The scum players hide amongst the town, and the goal of the town is to eliminate all of the scum. Each Day, the town as a whole (including scum) votes on a player to lynch. Generally, the town is only allowed to talk strategy during the Day, but there are exceptions to this rule.
